WITH A SOUL OF STONE
Design is not merely aesthetic — it is matter shaped by memory.
I am a sculptor and collectible design artist working at the intersection of art, material research, and spatial presence. My practice explores permanence, transformation, and the silent narratives embedded within natural materials.
Each collection emerges from a specific conceptual and material investigation. Some are deeply rooted in the geological and cultural landscape of the Yucatán Peninsula — working with limestone, cantera, volcanic stone, copper, and henequén. Others respond to different territories, histories, or material dialogues. The origin shifts; the intention remains.
Stone, metal, and earth-based materials carry time within them. They fracture, oxidize, compress, and endure. I approach them not as surfaces, but as living archives — elements that hold energy, rupture, and continuity.
My work exists between sculpture and functional object. Every piece is conceived as a sculptural presence first, utility second. Proportion, balance, weight, and tension guide my process. The result is collectible design that inhabits space with quiet authority.
Through Ivan Guerrero Studio, I develop limited and collectible works intended for collectors, galleries, and architectural environments that value material depth and structural clarity.
Some collections emerge from specific geographies. Others are born from abstraction. All are unified by one principle:
Material as identity.
Form as transformation.
Object as legacy.
PIECES WITH SOUL
Each piece is born from the earth and time. I don't design objects: I give life to sculptures hand-carved by artisans who are heirs to Mayan blood, where tradition and precision meet to reveal stories sculpted in stone.
CONSCIOUS CREATION
Art and function intertwine in each of my designs. Every form respects the natural origin of the material, exalting its strength, its texture, and its timeless voice, perfected with manual techniques and basic tools.
LIVING SPACES
My large-scale works don't just occupy a space: they awaken it. They are portals of connection between humankind and nature, reminding us that every space vibrates with the memory of the earth.
SCULPTURES OF TIME
I work with stone as a guardian of ancestral memories. Each sculpture is a dialogue between the eternity of matter and the human moment, inviting reflection on our passage through time.

LIVE WORKSHOP
Each creation by Iván Guerrero Studio is carved mostly by hand, using respectful and conscious processes. Artisans of Mayan heritage imbue each piece with their skill, mastery, and passion, achieving a perfection that honors the stone, the craft, and the art.
