Where It All Began

I’ve always felt a special connection to stone—its history, its strength, and its ability to transform over time. As a child, I was fascinated by dinosaurs, those ancient giants that ruled the Earth until one event changed everything. And curiously, without knowing it, life would bring me to the very place where that event happened: Yucatán, the epicenter of the extinction that marked a new beginning for the world.
Before arriving here, my life was entirely focused on designing and marketing stone furniture. In Mexico City, my business revolved around marble—creating pieces that told stories through their texture, color, and origin. But when I decided to move to Mérida, I left everything behind: my company, people, places… and with that, a part of me broke.
Mérida didn’t just become my new home—it became the place where I had to rebuild myself, piece by piece. I dove into a completely different world: selling electric motorcycles and bicycles. During those years, I developed new skills—tools that seemed far from my original passion, but that I now understand were necessary for me to return to it with greater strength and vision.
Here in Yucatán, I discovered unique stones, the magnificent Maya culture, and materials with a raw beauty few have ever seen. Suddenly, everything clicked. The story of the meteorite, my love for stone, my journey of transformation… it was all connected. Just like the impact that changed Earth forever, I too had been transformed.
Today, at 34, I’m ready to share my story through what I do best: design. I want to bring a piece of this land and its powerful culture into homes, hotels, and spaces across Mexico—and hopefully, around the world. Every piece I create is more than furniture; it’s a fragment of history, a physical manifestation of what it means to evolve and be reborn.
Because after that impact, nothing was ever the same. And after my own transformation, neither was I.
